Do you have a problem with biting dogs in managing the uncooperative dog?

For the first time we will talk about grips, having a correct grip on the dog means having precise and stress-free work on both sides. We will groom a Cocker Spaniel in a workshop creating reference points to have a perfect Standard line and we will also use these reference points for all Smooth-haired dogs.

We will groom a poodle in a workshop, for each step and for each reference point we will match the right grip.

Morning Module

• Improve and find the right technique to highlight the harmonious lines of the cocker.
• Fundamental points to use and execution of work with correct grips to allow a natural result.
• Study and reference points to build skirt and tie.
• Technique and Management on hair texture smooth.
• Presentation of the machine cut respecting the breed standard.

Afternoon module

Poodle in workshop

• Rules, reference points, proportions and symmetries for the grooming of the Miniature Poodle in commercial
• Study of the various reference points, proportions and rules, applied to be able to form a cylindrical leg with symmetry and balance, angulation in the rear always using the machine body with the risers
• Study of the heads in curly hair.
• Which products to choose and how to use them according to the breed and the type of hair.
• Technique and correct use of scissors.
• Difference between curved, straight or serrated scissors based on the type of hair and practical exercises.
